My diabetic journey has taught me many lessons not only about sickness and healing, but also about obesity, discipline, food intake, and how our daily choices shape our future. When I look back at how a human being can reach 200 kilos, I realize that obesity is not just about weight. It is a combination of habits, lifestyle, discipline, and sometimes genetics. But in my experience, the biggest factor is discipline or the lack of it.
Today, obesity is a global issue. Millions of people struggle with weight, high blood pressure, diabetes, and other lifestyle‑related illnesses. Many ask: What is the real cause? Is it our genes? Is it the food today? Is it our habits? Is it lack of exercise?
Through my own journey, I discovered that the answer is not complicated. It is simple but not easy. And the solution is also simple but requires commitment.
This is my story, my understanding, and the lessons I learned the hard way.
How Does a Human Reach 200 Kilos?
Obesity does not happen overnight. It is the result of years of habits, choices, and lifestyle patterns. A person reaches 200 kilos because of:
- Eating more than the body needs
- Eating frequently without discipline
- Choosing unhealthy food
- Lack of movement
- Lack of awareness
- Emotional eating
- Stress eating
- Ignoring the body’s signals
In my own diabetic journey, I realized that obesity is not just about food it is about behavior. It is about how we treat our body. It is about how we ignore the signs. It is about how we allow our habits to control us.
Is Obesity Caused by Genes or Discipline?
Many people say obesity is genetic. Yes, genetics can play a role some people gain weight faster, some have slower metabolism, some have family history. But genetics is only a small part.
The bigger part is discipline.
- Discipline in food intake
- Discipline in portion control
- Discipline in timing
- Discipline in movement
- Discipline in lifestyle
Even if you have obesity genes, discipline can still control your weight. But even if you have “good genes,” lack of discipline can still make you obese.
So in my experience, the real cause is not genes it is how we live.
The Body Is Like Fire Food Is the Fuel
One of the best examples I use to understand obesity is fire. Our body is like fire. Food is the fuel.
If you put too much wood in a fire, the flame becomes weak. It suffocates. It loses oxygen. It becomes unstable.
If you put too little wood, the fire dies.
But if you put the right amount, the fire burns strong, steady, and healthy.
The same is true for our body.
- Too much food = overload, obesity, sickness
- Too little food = weakness, low energy
- Right amount of food = balance, health, strength
Food is not the enemy. Lack of discipline is the enemy.
What Causes Obesity Around the World?
Obesity is now a global epidemic. Why? Because of modern lifestyle:
1. Processed Food
Today’s food is full of sugar, preservatives, artificial flavors, and unhealthy fats.
2. Fast Food Culture
People choose convenience over nutrition.
3. Lack of Movement
Technology made life easier but also made people sit more and move less.
4. Stress and Emotional Eating
People eat to comfort themselves.
5. Oversized Portions
Restaurants serve more than the body needs.
6. Sugary Drinks
Milk tea, soda, energy drinks all loaded with sugar.
7. Lack of Discipline
People know what to do, but they don’t do it.
8. Ignoring Body Signals
People eat even when they are not hungry.
These are the real causes of obesity not just genetics.
Is Obesity Manageable?
Yes. Absolutely. Obesity is manageable. Obesity is preventable. Obesity is reversible with discipline.
You don’t need expensive programs. You don’t need magic pills. You don’t need miracle diets.
What you need is:
- Discipline
- Consistency
- Awareness
- Healthy habits
- Willingness to change
If you control your food, you control your weight. If you control your habits, you control your health.
What Causes High Blood, Obesity, and Diabetes?
These three conditions are connected. They come from the same root:
- Too much sugar
- Too much salt
- Too much fat
- Too much food
- Lack of exercise
- Lack of sleep
- Stress
- Unhealthy lifestyle
When you overload your body, your organs suffer. Your pancreas struggles. Your heart works harder. Your blood pressure rises. Your blood sugar spikes. Your weight increases.
It is not one big mistake it is many small mistakes repeated daily.
What Is the Best Solution?
People ask: What is the best solution? Jogging? Workout? Limiting food? Regular exercise?”
The truth is: all of these help. But none of them work without discipline.
Jogging helps
But if you eat too much after jogging, it won’t work.
Workout helps
But if you drink sugary drinks after workout, it won’t work.
Limiting food helps
But if you limit food today and overeat tomorrow, it won’t work.
Regular exercise helps
But if you don’t sleep well, it won’t work.
Medication helps manage symptoms
But it does not cure obesity or diabetes.
Weight loss products, slimming teas, milk teas
Most of them are temporary. Some are harmful. None of them replace discipline.
The Market Is Flooded With Weight Loss Products
Today, the market is full of:
- Slimming pills
- Weight‑loss teas
- Detox drinks
- Fat‑burning supplements
- Milk teas claiming to reduce weight
- Magic powders
- Miracle diets
People buy these because they want fast results. But fast results are temporary. And many of these products do not address the real cause lack of discipline.
In my experience, these products did not help me. They only wasted my money.
What Really Works: My Personal Experience
After trying many things, I discovered that only two things truly work:
1. Discipline
Discipline in food. Discipline in timing. Discipline in movement. Discipline in lifestyle.
Without discipline, nothing changes.
2. Consistency
Consistency in habits. Consistency in routine. Consistency in healthy choices.
Without consistency, results disappear.
3. Willingness to Live Healthy
You must want to change. You must want to be healthy. You must want to live longer.
No product can give you willingness. No medicine can give you discipline. No shortcut can replace consistency.
Conclusion
My diabetic journey taught me the truth about obesity, health, and discipline. A person becomes obese not because of fate, but because of habits. The world is full of unhealthy food, lack of movement, and quick solutions but the real answer is simple:
Discipline, consistency, and willingness to live healthy.
These three things changed my life. These three things helped me recover. These three things gave me hope.
If you are struggling with weight, diabetes, or unhealthy habits, remember this: You can change. You can improve. You can heal.
Start with discipline. Continue with consistency. Live with willingness.
Thank you once again for your time reading my diabetic journey. I hope my story inspires you to take small steps toward a healthier life.
