Life often surprises us. What feels like the darkest season can become the doorway to new opportunities. My diabetes journey was painful, but it became the turning point that opened my mind, strengthened my discipline, and eventually led me to discover online income through TikTok.

In Part 1 of my story, I shared how diabetes pushed me to create my very first YouTube short video. It took me 14 hours, filled with frustration, copyright scares, and sleepless determination. That single video was not perfect in fact, it was terrible but it was the seed of something bigger.

Now, in Part 2, I want to share what happened next: how I moved from failure to progress, how I discovered TikTok, how I taught my family to join me, and how discipline and faith continued to guide me in building my online dream.

Learning From Failure

My first video was a disaster. It was noisy, poorly edited, and flagged for copyright. But instead of quitting, I treated it as a lesson.

Failure taught me three things:

  • Patience Nothing great happens instantly.
  • Humility I had to admit I knew nothing and start from zero.
  • Persistence If I could survive diabetes, I could survive learning video editing.

That mindset became my strength. Every mistake was no longer a reason to quit it was a step forward.

Asking for Help

After my 14‑hour struggle, I finally asked my children for help. They laughed at me Silly Pa, 14 hours for one short video! but their laughter was also encouragement. It reminded me that I wasn’t alone.

I began to involve my family in my dream. I told them about my goal of earning even just $1 online. That dream became our shared joke, but also our shared hope.

Sometimes, asking for help is the bravest step we can take.

Discovering TikTok

YouTube was too complicated for me at first. So when I discovered TikTok, it felt easier. I downloaded the app and started experimenting.

My first TikTok upload? A black screen with music. No picture, no content — just sound.

I laughed at myself, but I didn’t stop. I practiced daily. After one month, I learned the basics. After six months, I became confident enough to upload regularly.

TikTok became my training ground. It was where I learned consistency, creativity, and courage.

The Affiliate Dream

As I grew on TikTok, I discovered affiliate marketing. I wanted to add a basket to my profile so I could sell products. But I faced another challenge: I didn’t have enough followers.

It took me one full year to qualify for the TikTok shop basket. When I finally saw it appear, I felt like crying. It was the fulfillment of another dream.

That basket symbolized progress. It was proof that patience pays off.

Discipline From Diabetes, Applied to Business

The discipline I learned from diabetes controlling my food, timing my meals, and resisting cravings became the same discipline I applied to my online journey.

  • I uploaded videos daily, even when tired.
  • I studied tutorials repeatedly, even when confused.
  • I kept practicing, even when views were low.

Discipline became my medicine, not just for my body but also for my business.

Faith as My Foundation

Through all of this, my faith remained my anchor.

Romans 8:28 (KJV): “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God…”

James 1:4 (KJV): “But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”

These verses reminded me that my struggles were not wasted. God was using my sickness, my failures, and my frustrations to prepare me for something greater.

The Joy of Small Income

After months of practice, I began to earn. My daily income from TikTok was small like raindrops. But those drops mattered. They reminded me that my dream was alive. They reminded me that my effort was working.

Imagine if I stopped dreaming after my diabetes diagnosis. Imagine if I quit after my first failed video. I would not be enjoying this small but real income today.

Every drop is a blessing. Every drop is proof that patience works.

Teaching My Family

After seven months of enjoying my small daily income, I decided to teach my wife and kids how to become TikTok affiliates.

It was one of the happiest decisions I made. Suddenly, my dream was no longer mine alone it became a family journey.

Now, they enjoy the same small income while sleeping, on vacation, at the market, or anywhere they go. They are happy to check their accounts daily, smiling at the little drops of income that remind them of progress.

My wife even earned $25 a day in her first account. It was a big encouragement for her. But then something happened.

The Hacking Incident

After three months of her hard work, my wife’s account was hacked.

Why? Because she was new and didn’t know the risks. Someone sent her a link, promising a big commission. She clicked it, entered her TikTok code, and unknowingly gave away her access.

The next day, she noticed her daily income was gone. It was no longer coming into her account.

It was heartbreaking. But it was also a lesson.

Friendly advice: If this scenario happens to you, never give your code to anyone. Do not trust links or promises of easy money. Protect your account, because once it’s hacked, you lose everything.

It was a painful experience, but we didn’t lose hope. We learned. And we kept going.

Lessons Learned

That hacking incident taught us three important lessons:

  1. Protect your account. Never share codes or passwords.
  2. Stay disciplined. Success requires patience and caution.
  3. Don’t lose hope. Even when setbacks happen, keep moving forward.

My wife restarted her journey. My kids continued theirs. And together, we grew stronger as a family.

Looking Ahead

My journey is far from over. My dream now is to grow my online business, to reach six‑digit daily income, and to inspire others who feel hopeless.

But more than money, my focus is on God. I want my journey to glorify Him. I want my discipline, my patience, and my persistence to be a testimony of His grace.

Every failure, every hacking incident, every sleepless night — they are all part of the process. And the process is what makes the victory sweeter.

Conclusion

Part 2 of my story is about growth. From one failed video to daily uploads, from zero followers to an affiliate basket, from sickness to strength my journey continues.

Diabetes changed my life, but God turned that difficulty into opportunity. My first video took 14 hours, but today I can create content with confidence. My first dream was $1, but now I dream bigger.

I taught my family, and now they too enjoy small daily income. We faced hacking, but we learned to protect ourselves. We faced setbacks, but we refused to quit.

Thank you for following my journey. I hope it inspires you to keep going, even when progress feels slow. Your breakthrough may take time — mine took years — but when it comes, it will be worth it.

Ones again thank you for your time
