Hey, I’m here again to share the highlights of my plan and my promise to keep you updated on the outcome of my journey towards better health, particularly regarding my type 2 diabetes, which I am now managing effectively.

I want you to know that I finally followed through with something I’ve been neglecting for a long time: exercise. And just as I promised, I’m letting you know about it as soon as I do. Last day, I spent an hour exercising.

At the age of 52, the doctor advised me that heavy lifting at the gym wasn’t necessary anymore, but I still tried lifting weights up to 20 kilograms to build muscle. I also set up a routine to develop my abs, which you’ll see in my video.

But before I could do this, I had to overcome two weeks of hesitation and planning, which I often struggled with. And I’ll tell you, there were many reasons for not exercising regularly.

The first hurdle to regular exercise was:

“Laziness”
“I’ll do it tomorrow”
“Later”
“Maybe tomorrow”
“I’ll postpone it for now”
“I’m too busy”
“I’m not in the mood”
“I’m alone”
“I ate too much”
“I’ll do it when I have time”
“I have an important appointment and many other reasons.”

I experienced all of these before I started exercising, and it was a real battle of willpower and discipline because it wasn’t part of my daily routine for my health. And I also learned from the doctor’s advice that I should include exercise in my daily routine because our muscles play a significant role in reducing sugar in our bodies since they require a sweet supply.

I’m also including my photo not to boast about my still imperfect body but as a reference for my daily changes or for comparison.

I want to document my journey regarding health and wellness so I can prove that there’s been a change in my actions for health, and hopefully, my diabetes won’t return.

Here are photos and samples of what I’ve been eating for a year to keep diabetes at bay. It’s the same meals repeatedly for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I will update regularly how is my daily food work and actually on the first two weeks of my diet I feel desapointed exhausted because I cant eat regular food that I’m soppose to have during my meal.

It is also very difficult to control what you want to eat, especially when you are used to eat with out thingking what is the outcome of what you eat. I was just a little confused because everyone else was eating new vegetables. I have been taught to be healthy and disciplined in my diet and I have also taken it to make my illness heal quickly because it is so easy to get rid of it while it is not so bad during that time.

By the way, I’ve returned to work on a ship as a Rooms Division Supervisor, and managing my workout schedule isn’t easy because I’m tired after work.

Since my shift ends at 3 pm, that’s when I work out. I do it during my 3-hour break.

And that’s it for now on my update regarding my diabetic and health journey. I’ll keep you updated daily or every other day on the outcome. I hope you enjoyed reading and thank you very much for your time.

Feel free to leave a message if you have any questions or comments I happy learn from you.

Once again, thank you very much.
