An update on my black spot or discolored skin by my feet, a year ago as I mentioned in my previous blog post. The first time I consulted the doctor, I discovered I had type 2 diabetes. At that time, my feet were in a terrible condition with bloated and wounded skin, which was not pleasant to look at, even for myself.

The doctor informed me that I had over 135 creatinine, a sugar level of 128 and a high fever, the doctor suggested that I get confined. However, I declined because I felt I was strong enough to resist and I was in denial of the illness I had at that time. To make it short, I wasn’t ready to accept it yet.

I stayed home for self-medication and didn’t take the prescribed medicine because I was mentally strong, I believed that I wasn’t sick. Also, I had regular medical check-ups every year, which made me reluctant to accept the truth. This was a mistake because I forgot that I was on vacation from 2019 to 2022 and didn’t undergo any medical examination during that period.

After a few weeks, I started to feel better. However, I couldn’t shake off the shock of my illness and always wondered why I got sick. Since then, it has always been on my mind. Every time I remove my shoes, I feel pain in my feet because of the bloating and wounded skin.

After one year, the skin on my feet is gradually healing, but I noticed a black mark or discoloration on my skin that remains until now. This is what I’m having the doctor check. According to the doctor, this is due to my diabetes, but it’s still in its initial stages.

The doctor explained that the problem is caused by the blood circulation not being optimal in the area with black discoloration. It’s also a sign that there might be an issue with my kidney. However, even if sometimes my foot gets wounded, I will continue to undergo check-ups and laboratory tests until I fully understand the cause of the discoloration.

I just want to update you on any progress in my health. By the way, the results of my diet are good. I’m only eating vegetables most of the time, sometimes with limited carbohydrates to maintain my health, and thank you again for your time and reading my blog.

If you have any comments or suggestions regarding health, please leave a message. I would be glad to hear your ideas.

Thank you very much!
