Today, I headed to the market early to pick up my daily groceries, like veggies, as part of my regular diet. I grabbed some bitter melon, cucumber, tomatoes, notepads, carrots and live cut fish.

And here’s a snapshot of my little foot that got diabetes. Sorry for the gross picture; I just wanted you to have an idea of what’s going on with my foot. Here’s the before-and-after, but every time I indulge in super sweet and salty carbohydrates, my foot skin starts acting up.

I walked back for about 35 minutes, pondering along the way. I couldn’t help but think what the heck? This really happened because I ended up with diabetes.

Blame it on my addiction to downing six sachets of 3-in-1 coffee and sweet pandesal bread every day. Now, I have to stick to a strict diet to kick type 2 diabetes to the curb.

Thanks also for my blunder of accidentally opening two websites. It led me to start a health blog, focusing on my battle with diabetes. Right now, I’m all about finding a way to conquer this disease.

I’m documenting everything I’m doing and planning to share it with those facing the same challenge. Let’s help others who aim to be healthy.

As for my diet, I’ve learned to steer clear of sweet stuff, carbs, and salt. I’ve noticed changes in the skin on my feet when I consume more of these, and it hurts. This is the first bit I’ll share with you, and I’ll keep updating my blog on my daily health regimen.

Thanks a bunch for following along, feel free to drop your questions, and if you have any smart ideas for a quick diabetes fix, please share. Until then, I appreciate you.

See you soon…
